Jericho itself is a smallish neighbourhood, just north of the very centre of Oxford. It has many small restaurants and shops. Most students say it is the best neighbourhood in Oxford for students, including young graduates. The very centre of Oxford (between St. Giles and Carfax Tower) has very few rooms for rent, which are extremely expensive, so Jericho is a good alternative. We have other houses and flats (about 20-25 in all depending on the term) not listed, which are similar to the units we have described. If you would prefer to live in one of these units, please indicate your first and second preference on your housing request form and we will do our best to meet your first or second preference. You may indicate broadly that you would like to live in an older house in Jericho, in a modern flat in Venneit Close, in the very centre (surcharge applicable) or near to Magdalen College.
